Minnesota's temperature swings put unique stress on engine oil. Cold starts thicken oil; summer heat thins it.
For most modern vehicles, we recommend full synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles or 6 months. Short-trip vehicles should change at 3,500 miles.
Use 0W-20 or 5W-30 for our climate unless your manual specifies otherwise.
